ACT is a European cooperation project on ecology, climate change and social transition. In an era of climate breakdown, mass extinction and growing inequalities we join our forces in a project on hope: connecting broad perspectives with specific, localized possibilities, ones that invite or demand that we ACT.
ACT is initiated by 10 cultural operators from 10 European countries working in the field of performing and visual arts. ACT is a project with the support of the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.

The project
The network alllows the commission and the coproduction of artistic projects coherent with its values. Under the banners “Collection Europe” and “Relay lectures” the project produces two forms of local artistic activities based on sharing through its members different european countries. The Summerlabs are the occasion to reunite all of ACT members in a given place and to collectively think about environmental issues during public key moments.
At two moments in the four year period we align our artistic agenda with major political moments/events on climate and biodiversity. The first of these two keys moments will take place at the occasion of the
IUCN World’s Conservation Congress from June 11 to 19 2020, where COAL deploys its program
VIVANT.
